"The first picture I have no information about whatsoever.  This first picture appears to be a bit older than the second picture.  This is the one that I have speculated instead of being a picture of some of my great grandfather's Rape family members, it may in fact have some tie into my great grandmother's families....either the Spinks' or the Singley's.

My great grandmother was Eva Jane Spinks (b. Jun. 12, 1882 in Butts Co., GA; d. Nov. 14, 1912 in Coffee Co., GA), the oldest child of Benjamin Lewis Spinks (b. May 1861 in Butts Co., GA; d. aft. 1920 in Dodge Co., GA) and Emily C. Singley (b. abt. 1864 in Butts Co., GA; d. sometime between 1885 and 1889 in Butts Co., GA).

Benjamin Lewis Spinks' parents were George W. Spinks (b. Feb. 22, 1828; d. Dec. 17, 1903) and Martha Matilda Deason (b. April 1, 1830; d. Nov. 9, 1911).

Emily C. Singley's parents were John Lewis Singley (b. abt. 1822; d. May 29, 1865) and Emily Jane Cole (b. abt. 1827; d. July 6, 1895).

In the second picture I can at least pick out my great grandfather and his second wife.  My great grandfather, Charles Gordon Rape (b. Sept. 17, 1879 in Henry Co., GA; d. Feb. 25, 1968 in Santa Rosa Co., FL) is standing on the second row, the second man from the left.   His second wife is seated directly in front of him (second lady seated on the first row from the left).  Her name was Effie Frances Johnson (b. Sept. 17, 1889; d. Aug. 26, 1963).

Charles Gordon Rape's parents were George Washington Rape (b. Sept. 26, 1833 in Henry Co., GA; d. December 1902 in Henry Co., GA) and Louisa Frances Nail (b. Nov. 14, 1850 in Henry Co., GA; d. Jan. 4, 1914 in Henry Co., GA).

If anybody has any information on the identities of these people in either of the pictures, I would dearly love to hear from them!!"
